Here’s something you don’t hear everyday, Oprah Winfrey is asking other business leaders to help her boost her presence. The former queen of Talk plans to meet with various web leaders to figure out how to increase visitor numbers at Oprah.com.
Traffic to her flagship website has fallen off sharply over the last several months from a high of 5.1 million unique visitors in January 2011 to just 2.4 million unique visitors in July.
According to the New York Post the meeting is set to take place at the home of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg and in attendance will be Twitter CEO Dick Costola, Demand Media CEO Richard Rosenblatt and LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner among others.
Also expected to attend the meeting are various executives from Harpo and Hearst, the Oprah powerhouse that publishes Oprah magazine.
