Chris Rovzar has left his post as the senior online editor at New York Magazine after four years, he will now take over as editor of Vanity Fair’s Web operations.
Rovzar has been a big presence at New York’s Daily Intel blog where he was often the point man for stories and other issues.
Vanity Fair has had a hard time keeping their digital editors, their last editor Michael Hogan left the job in June for a features editor role at AOL Huffington Post, he was with the company for less than a year, while Chris Tennant who held the position before Hogan also left in a hurry.
Rovzar will begin in his new position this September and will report to executive director of multimedia projects Jamie Pallot.
At this time no parties involved are commenting on Chris’ shift to Vanity Fair.
