Last month, it was announced that YouTube was getting nearly 100 new channels featuring premium programming, and Clevver Media is one of a handful of production companies that will have three channels on the service.
Bedrocket Media, BermanBraun, Demand Media, Electus, IconicTV, and Maker Studios will also be heading up three of the nearly 100 new channels, and like Maker, Clevver will also feature a Spanish-language channel. Clevver media co-founder Michael Palmer commented on the new YouTube partnership, explaining that the company hopes to broaden its reach with the three new YouTube channels:
“We are taking advantage of the YouTube initiative to broaden our audience reach with channels targeting new demographics for Clevver Media.”
Fellow Clevver Media co-founder Jorge Maldonado spoke of the potential in the Spanish-language market that Clevver Media hopes to tap into:
“The YouTube original channels initiative will also enable us to expand our international reach… Our new ClevverTeVe channel is designed to tap into the rapidly growing Latino market, hungry for high quality and up-to-date entertainment news content.”
ClevverTeVe launched earlier this month, including original content such as Teve Hollywood, Radar Latino and Teve Moda.
