Following her acrimonious departure as Yahoo CEO last week, Carol Bartz has resigned from the Yahoo board.
According to a statement from the company, Bartz stepped down as a director on September 9, shortly after slamming the board in Forbes, claiming that they had “f*&ked her over” and were “doofuses.”
Notably Bartz had claimed in the same interview that she had intended to stay on the Yahoo board.
In related news, Bartz may also be about to take a $10 million hit, with her comments in Forbes potentially breaching a non-disparage clause in her contract.
The board has made no statement so far, however her lashing out certainly casts some doubt on her $10 million exit payout.
