Online video studio My Damn Channel has launched the Damn Channel Talent Network, a new division aiming to sign, develop and produce new video creators.
The new division is being headed by Molly Templeton (aka Mememolly), who is taking on the role of Director of Talent & Audience Development.
Those signed to the new network will see their works appear on www.MyDamnChannel.com and throughout the My Damn Channel distribution network of partner sites.
Founder and CEO Rob Barnett said in a statement that “We just worked with Subway, USC and IFC to launch a new filmmaker series and we were inspired to create a management position to develop and birth more fresh talent. Molly is one of the smartest, most passionate leaders we could ask to run the My Damn Channel Talent Network. We now have another amazing, in-house star as well!”
The My Damn Channel Distribution Network now reaches over 50 million unique visitors monthly, and the recently launched My Damn Channel Blog Network is aiming to add dozens of new entertainment sites to the company’s footprint.
