Huffington Post deputy entertainment, culture and lifestyle editor Maura Egan is leaving The Huffington Post after serving in the position just shy of five months.
WWD reported that Egan wrote in an email simply that “I’d like to leave it at that,” and that she hopes to spend the rest of August at the beach and will look into “various possibilities” after that.
Egan had previously worked for the New York Times as a travel editor.
There was no well wishes from The Huffington Post over her departure, with a spokesman stating only that “Maura has decided to pursue other career opportunities.”
