It’s pretty much standard at this point every major retailer’s Black Friday deals will “leak” online in the days and weeks ahead of retail orgy Black Friday, enabling deal hunters to plan their strategy if they plan on leaving the house to beat back the throngs of fellow bargain hunters in hopes of scoring a $49 flatscreen or $29 iPod or something else ridiculous like that. (Also, creating a bit of buzz for the retailer.)
Of course, Black Friday sales have notorious limitations- one being crowds and in rare cases, riots- and others relating to low inventory of doorbusters or loss-leaders making for a frustrating experience for many shoppers. Many retailers have carried their hourly specials online, although bandwidth limits and fast sell-outs still occur in cyberspace.
One of the more buzzed about releases each year is the Best Buy Black Friday ad, and 2011’s entry has hit the web with both in-store and online-only deals. Whether you plan to brave the crowds or hit up the website after all your Thanksgiving festivities, here are some of Best Buy’s Black Friday 2011 deals:
