Newish audio sharing site Turntable.fm has something interesting to boast about today with news that they have added music celebrities Lady Gaga and Kanye West as investors.
The involvement of the two singers is said to have come through a $7.5 milliom financing round the company took 7 July via Union Square Ventures and First Round Capital.
The amount Lady Gaga and Kanye West invested individually has not been disclosed.
The rapidly growing service, currently georetarded and only available in the United States, allows users to create “rooms,” which other users can then join. The legality of the model has been subject to considerable discussion.
